Text Box: Dear Members,

Things in our office have changed a lot in the first six months of the new officers learning about each other and how to run the local. We are right on with the budget that you as members have approved and we are still looking for members of the finance committee as well as all the other committees see the By-Laws on our new website http://cwalocal7621.org/index_files/BYLaws.htm. We have attended officer training and District 7 meeting and getting ready to go to an organizing training, AFL/CIO Convention and CWA National Convention in Washington DC.
I am very pleased with all that have been helping get your local back on its feet and up and running like its members really care. We are working on Edge/AT&T organizing right now and have got several new members at the Qwest center that continues to hire. What we need is some help from all of you. It is very simple. First of all we need members to come to the local meetings that are the third Wednesday of every month. Next we need you to talk to your co-workers that are not members and ask them to join in our efforts to continue to keep a living wage and benefits for you and your family members. It is just that simple.
Remember that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
